Cup Week Style

Cup Week Looks

My third and final post surrounding Canterbury Cup and Show Week gives you a quick run through of the two outfits I wore. While the first voices a rather feminine, slightly simplistic and chic point of view, the second look channels a more masculine and bold side of mine. Which one do you prefer?

I See Red

By now, you would have already gathered that I generally prefer to wear something a little more eclectic and unique. For Cup Day, I went with a structured yet somewhat daring and romantic dress. As for the headpiece, what is there not to love about a little bit of birdcage veil and a flower crown?! A simple choker and stud earrings took up the red of the headband perfectly without drawing too much attention away from it.

Jockey Style

On Saturday – in typical jockey manner – I opted for a simple cap as a ‘headpiece’. Following my own advice, a pair of bold trousers that almost deserves the tag ‘statement pants’ seemed just right. Finally, taking the yearly summer trend lace to a whole new level, a detailed yet simple cut black lace top added the ideal amount of texture and detail.
