Look of the Week – Reset

Look of the Week – Reset

Right now, I feel as though change is all around me. A new season – in fact, my favourite one of them all – always introduces fresh change and new inspiration.

Right now, I feel as though I am pressing a reset button to kickstart spring with an open heart filled with plenty of fresh and new ideas. With these thoughts in my mind, styling the below outfit came about very naturally.

Right now, I feel as though clean, fluid cuts paired with simple, striking landscapes is all I need to press reset and see off winter.

Spring is so much more than floral skirts and a pair of new sunnies. As nature awakens and starts to flourish again, it’s the ideal time to reinvent your sense of style. In fact, there couldn’t be a better time than now to follow Fashion Lesson #1 from last Sunday’s post. The pieces featured in today’s look of the week are undoubtedly those that would stay while clearing out my wardrobe. The dress is striking, yet reserved. The colour scheme catches the eye and blends in at the same time. Ultimately, the shoes seamlessly tie together the elegant notes from the dress with the coat’s simple and sporty approach. Et voilà. More often than not, less really is more, isn’t it?
