THE COLOMBO Food.Fashion.Design

As many of you would already know by now, I am a big fan of what’s on offer at one of Christchurch’s only innovative and engaging shopping precincts. The Colombo manages to seamlessly tie together fashion with other forms of art, whereby the act of shopping feels rather like an experience than anything else. Last Thursday night, it was exactly this concept that draw in hundreds of fashion lovers from around the city. Showcasing a huge variety of effortless yet outstanding S/S ’15 wear, I took a closer look and captured my favourite looks to share with you.

In terms of the fashion on display, silhouettes were mostly kept simple while detail was vast. I particularly enjoyed the huge array of colours ranging from vibrant reds to moody olive tones. Whether you enjoy graphic prints matched with tomboy shapes or you tend to lean towards delicate lace pieces and fitted designs, the all-encompassing runway was a great reminder to focus on embracing your very own style.
